Abstract
A silver halide emulsion chemically sensitized by at least one compound having a bond of anionic chalcogenide to gold(I) cation and capable of releasing a gold-chalcogen anion species and a method for chemically sensitizing a silver halide emulsion, comprising adding at least one compound having a bond of anionic chalcogenide to gold(I) cation and capable of releasing a gold-chalcogen anion species are disclosed.
Claims26
A silver halide emulsion chemically sensitized by at least one compound having a bond of anionic chalcogenide to gold(I) cation and capable of releasing a gold-chalcogen anion species.
A method for chemically sensitizing a silver halide emulsion, comprising adding at least one compound having a bond of anionic chalcogenide to gold(I) cation and capable of releasing a gold-chalcogen anion species.
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least one silver halide emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion subjected to chemical sensitization by at least one compound having a bond of anionic chalcogenide to gold(I) cation and capable of releasing a gold-chalcogen anion species.
