A method of provoking an immune response in a subject against influenza, wherein the method comprises administering to the subject through a mucosal route a composition comprising an effective amount of (i) influenza virus antigen obtained from a mammalian cell culture comprising protein-free media and (ii) an aluminum salt, wherein the composition is free of media and egg proteins.
A method of provoking an immune response in a subject against influenza, wherein the method comprises administering to the subject through an oral route a composition comprising an effective amount of (i) influenza virus antigen obtained from a mammalian cell culture comprising protein-free media and (ii) an aluminum salt, wherein the composition is free of media and egg proteins.
A method for eliciting anti-influenza IgA antibodies, wherein the method comprises
- administering to a subject through a nasal or oral route a composition comprising an effective amount of (i) influenza virus antigen obtained from a mammalian cell culture comprising protein-free media and (ii) an aluminum salt, wherein the composition is free of media and egg proteins.
