Abstract
A shadow mask comprises a frame member, a mask body formed in a plate shape as a grid element and mounted to the frame member and a plurality of slits formed to the mask body. The mask body is composed of an iron-based alloy containing 31.0-38.0 weight % of nickel and 1.0-6.5 weight % of cobalt and the iron-based alloy contains 0.01-0.10 weight % of carbon.

A shadow mask comprising a frame member, a mask body formed in a plate shape as a grid element having a plurality of slits and mounted to the frame member, wherein the mask body is composed of an iron-based alloy containing nickel of 32.0 to 34.0 weight %, cobalt of 3.5 to 6.5 weight %, carbon of 0.02 to 0.07 weight % and unavoidable impurities and iron in an amount of balance, and said iron-based alloy has a tensile strength of 650 to 1,000 N/mm2.
