Abstract
A process for preparing amines comprises reacting an epoxide of the formula (I) where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each, independently of one another, hydrogen or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C2-C200-hydrocarbon radical, with ammonia and hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst, where the molar ratio of ammonia:epoxide is from 5:1 to 500:1 and the hydrogen pressure is from 10 bar to 500 bar.

A process for preparing amines, which comprises reacting an epoxide of the formula (I)
- where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each, independently of one another, hydrogen or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C2-C200-hydrocarbon radical, with ammonia and hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst, where the molar ratio of ammonia:epoxide is from 5:1 to 500:1 and the hydrogen pressure is from 10 bar to 500 bar.
