Abstract
A mobile terminal includes a positioning receiver and a memory containing a location database. The location database defines a plurality of different geographic areas and contains location specific information pertaining to defined geographic areas. Selected location specific information corresponding to a particular geographic area is output based on the current location of the mobile terminal.
Claims2
A method of automatically reprogramming a location specific function of a mobile terminal, said method comprising:
- storing a location database in said mobile terminal, said location database including location specific information and associated location data;
- determining a current location of said mobile terminal;
- comparing said current location of said mobile terminal with said location data to select location specific information stored in said location database;
- and
- automatically reprogramming a location specific function based on said selected location specific information.
