Abstract
The present invention provides a micro-lens substrate wherein a higher contrast ratio can be obtained when used in a liquid crystal panel and the like. A micro-lens substrate includes a first substrate with concaves for microlenses having a plurality of first concaves and first alignment marks formed on a first glass substrate, a second substrate with concaves for microlenses having a plurality of second concaves and second alignment marks formed on a second glass substrate, a resin layer, microlenses comprised of double convex lenses formed of a resin filled in between the first and second concaves, and spacers.

A method of manufacturing a micro-lens board, comprising:
- bonding a first substrate having a plurality of curved lens surfaces to a second substrate having a plurality of curved lens surfaces, at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is transparent;
- and
- forming a plurality of micro-lenses comprised of double convex lenses that are formed therebetween.
A method of manufacturing a micro-lens substrate, comprising;
- bonding a first substrate having a plurality of first concaves with curved lens surfaces to a second substrate having a plurality of second plural concaves with curved lens surfaces via resin so that said first concaves and said second concaves face each other and a plurality of micro-lenses comprised of double convex lenses are formed between the first substrate and the second substrate, at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is transparent.
A micro-lens substrate, comprising:
- a substrate having a plurality of plural micro-lenses, wherein said micro-lenses include double convex lenses, and wherein a curvature radius of curve surface on a light-incident side of micro-lens and the curvature radius of curve surface on a light-emergent side of the micro-lens are different from each other.
A micro-lens substrate, comprising:
- a first substrate having a plurality of first concaves formed on its surface;
- a second substrate having a plurality of second concaves that is bonded to the first substrate via a resin layer;
- and
- a micro-lens is formed by a double convex lens between the first substrate and the second substrate, at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is transparent.
A micro-lens substrate, comprising:
- a first substrate having a plurality of first concaves on a surface and a second substrate having a plurality of second concaves on a surface bonded to each other via a resin so that said first concaves and second concaves face each other, wherein micro-lenses comprised of double convex lenses are formed between said first substrate and said second substrate, and at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is transparent.
