Abstract
An ink jet recording material for a non-aqueous ink, comprising an ink-receiving layer provided on a support and a polymer soluble or swellable in a petroleum type high boiling solvent, wherein the polymer is a liquid rubber.

An ink jet recording material for a non-aqueous ink, comprising an ink-receiving layer provided on a support, the ink-receiving layer being coated or impregnated with a polymer soluble or swellable in a high boiling petroleum solvent, wherein the polymer is a liquid rubber, wherein said liquid rubber is a liquid polyisoprene or a liquid polyisobutylene.
