Abstract
Provided is a method comprising administering (+) -Z- bisdehydrodoisynolic acid to a patient for treating, inhibiting or delaying the onset of prostatic conditions including prostatitis, benign prostatic hypertrophy and prostate cancer without accompanying feminizing effects.

A method for treating, inhibiting or delaying the onset of a prostatic condition in a patient suffering from or disposed to said condition, the method comprising administering (+)-Z-bisdehydrodoisynolic acid to said patient in a dosage effective to treat, inhibit or delay said condition.
