Abstract
The invention describes a biaxially oriented polyester film with at least one base layer B, with at least one metal-adherent outer layer A, and preferably with another outer layer C, the metal-adherent outer layer A having a metal adhesion of at least 4 N/25 mm wherein the metal adherent layer consists essentially of an amorphous copolyester comprising ethylene terephthalate and ethylene isophthalate units.
Claims14
A coextruded, biaxially oriented polyester film with high metal adhesion made from a base layer B and from at least one metal-adherent outer layer A applied to the base layer B, wherein the metal-adherent outer layer A has a metal adhesion of ≧4 N/25 mm and a thickness of ≦1.6 μm and consists essentially of an amorphous copolyester built up from ethylene terephthalate units and ethylene isophthalate units and from ethylene glycol units.
