Abstract
The invention concerns a fusion protein characterised in that it comprises at least part of the pp65 protein of the cytomegalovirus (or CMV), or a protein having at least 80% homology with the pp65 protein, in combination with at least a second peptide fragment derived from CMV. The invention also concerns a nucleotide sequence coding for such a protein, or a pharmaceutical composition containing them. It further concerns its use as medicine and a method for preparing the protein.
Claims14
A fusion protein, comprising a first peptide fragment having at least 80% homology with CMV protein pp65, in combination with a second peptide fragment having i) at least nine amino acids derived from CMV protein IE1 or one of its epitopes, or ii) at least 80% homology with protein IE1.
