Abstract
Novel piperazine derivatives are provided having the formula wherein R1 is cyano, nitro, trifluoromethyl or halogen, or pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, which are useful as 5-HT1A receptor antagonists.
Claims2
A method for treating anxiety or depression in a patient in need thereof, comprising providing to the patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula III:
- wherein R1 is cyano, nitro, trifluoromethyl or halogen, or pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.
A method for treating schizophrenia in a patient in need thereof, comprising providing to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula III:
- wherein R1 is cyano, nitro, trifluoromethyl or halogen, or pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.
