Abstract
New injectable pharmaceutical formulations are described, containing a partricin derivative in the form of a free base as the active ingredient, or a pharmaceutically acceptable water-soluble salt thereof in a solubilizing/dispersing medium made up of a lipid and/or phospholipid emulsion in water, a procedure to obtain them, and the use of the formulations in the treatment of phathologies sensitive to the action of partricin derivatives.
Claims43
A pharmaceutical formulation, comprising:
- at least one derivative of partricin in the form of a free base or a pharmaceutically acceptable water-soluble salt thereof with
- at least one pharmaceutically acceptable acid or at least one pharmacologically acceptable acid;
- a solubilizing/dispersing medium comprising at least one emulsion selected from the group consisting of a lipid emulsion in water and a phospholipid emulsion in water, wherein the resulting emulsion is iso-osmotic and the resulting formulation is intravenously injectable.
