Abstract
An article includes a first member shaped and dimensioned for application to a rigid substrate. The first member is a decorative sheet which is adhesively bound to the substrate. The article further includes a polymeric adhesive tape securing the first member to the substrate, wherein the polymeric adhesive tape includes a heat activated, first polymeric adhesive layer which is activated at a first temperature and a heat activated, second polymeric adhesive layer which is opposite the first polymeric adhesive layer and is activated at a second temperature different from the first temperature.

An article comprising:
- a first member shaped and dimensioned for application to a rigid substrate, the first member being a decorative sheet which is adhesively bound to the substrate;
- and
- A polymeric adhesive tape securing the first member to the substrate, wherein the polymeric adhesive tape includes a heat activated, first polymeric adhesive layer which is activated at a first temperature and a heat activated, second polymeric adhesive layer which is opposite the first polymeric adhesive layer and is activated at a second temperature, wherein the first temperature is different from the second temperature and the difference in the first and second polymeric adhesive activated temperatures allows substantially complete securing of either the first or second polymeric adhesive to either the first member or the substrate before securing the remaining first or second polymeric adhesive to the remaining unsecured first member or substrate in a controlled manner.
