Abstract
A de-icing and anti-icing composition in the form of an aqueous solution which includes sugars, and an inorganic freezing point depressant in the form of a chloride salt.
Claims8
A de-icing and anti-icing composition comprising an aqueous solution which contains mixtures of sugars and a chloride salt in which the constituents are present in the following concentration:
- Weight % Sugars 3 to 60 Chloride Salt 5 to 35 Water Balance
- and wherein the molecular weight of each of the sugars is in the range of about 180-1638.
A de-icing and anti-icing composition comprising an aqueous solution which contains mixtures of sugars, a chloride salt and a thickener in which the constituents are present in the following concentration:
- Weight % Sugars 3 to 60 Chloride Salt 5 to 35 Thickener 0.15 to 10 Water Balance
- and wherein the molecular weight of each of the sugars is in the range of about 180-1638.
