Soft absorbent tissue containing hydrophilic polysiloxanes

A tissue having a Wet Out Time of about 10 seconds or less and containing at least about 2 dry weight percent of a hydrophilically-modified amino-functional polysiloxane having the following structure:

• wherein:
• m=1-10,000;
• n=10-100,000;
• “X” is selected from the group consisting of hydroxy;
• C1-C20 alkoxy, C1-C24 alkyl radical, which can be straight chain, branched or cyclic, unsubstituted or substituted;
• R1=a C1-C6 alkyl radical, which can be straight chain, branched or cyclic;
• and
• wherein
• t=0 or 1;
• w=0 or 1;
• R2=a C2-C10 alkylene diradical, which can be straight chain or branched, substituted or unsubstituted;
• R3=a C2-C10 alkylene diradical, which can be straight chain or branched, substituted or unsubstituted;
• R4=hydrogen or a C1-C10 alkyl radical, which can be straight chain, branched or cyclic, substituted or unsubstituted or a —COR6COOL, or —COR6COOR7 radical;
• R5=a hydrogen, a C1-C10 alkyl radical, which can be straight chain or branched, substituted or unsubstituted or a —COR6COOL, or —COR6COOR7 radical, or a “Y”;
• such that when t=1, “Y”=a —COR6COOL radical or a —COR6—COOR7 radical;
• such that when t=0, “Y”=a COR6CO diradical, a COR6 diradical, or a —CONR7R6CO diradical,
• wherein
• R6 is a C2-C8 alkylene diradical, substituted or unsubstituted;
• R7 is a hydrogen, C1-C30 alkyl radical, substituted or unsubstituted;
• and
• L=a hydrogen, sodium, potassium, calcium or other ion;
• such that when X=G, Y can also be a COR8,
• wherein R8 is a C1-C30 alkyl radical, substituted or unsubstituted.
