Abstract
Poly-β-amino acids and their use in catalytic organic reactions, especially in epoxidation procedures, are provided.

A supported or crosslinked homochiral homo-poly-β-amino acid catalyst attached by a covalent bond to a solid support selected from the group consisting of polysiloxanes, polyethers, polystyrenes, and polyacrylates or attached by adsorption to a solid support selected from the group consisting of SiO2-containing compounds, nitrocellulose, and cellulose.
