Device for holding reaction vessels which can be thermally adjusted and agitated

An apparatus for retaining a plurality of reaction vessels (2) which can be temperature-controlled and shaken, each of said reaction vessel (2) having a neck section (20) and a base section (22), said apparatus comprising

• a plurality of elastic receptacles (1, 10, 11, 6), each of said receptacles supporting a corresponding reaction vessel (2) beneath its neck section (20) in a liquid-tight manner;
• a flow channel (13), which is connected to said receptacles (1, 10, 11, 6) for flowing a liquid temperature-control medium around the corresponding reaction vessels (2);
• a plurality of first elastic couplings (3), each of said first couplings retaining a corresponding reaction vessel at a top end of its neck section (20);
• and
• a shaking arrangement (5) for moving the reaction vessels (2) such that said receptacles (1, 10, 11, 6) move horizontally relative to said plurality of first couplings (3).
