Abstract
The invention is directed to purified and isolated novel TSLP polypeptides, the nucleic acids encoding such polypeptides, processes for production of recombinant forms of such polypeptides, antibodies generated against these polypeptides, fragmented peptides derived from these polypeptides, and the uses of the above.
Claims14
An isolated polypeptide selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) a polypeptide encoded by a nucleic acid molecule having SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- and
- (b) a polypeptide encoded by a nucleic acid molecule which hybridizes to the complement of the polynucleotide having SEQ ID NO:
- 1 under conditions of moderate stringency in 50% formamide and 6 XSSC, at 42° C. with washing conditions of 60° C., 0.5 XSSC, 0.1% SDS, wherein said polypeptide is capable of binding a TSLP receptor.
A purified human thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) polypeptide wherein the polypeptide comprises SEQ ID NO:
- 2, or a fragment thereof, capable of binding TSLP receptors.
An purified human thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence that is at least 80% identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, or a fragment thereof, wherein the polypeptide is capable of binding TSLP receptors.
A purified human thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence that is at least 80% identical to the amino acids 29 through 159 or amino acids 35 through 159 of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, or a fragment thereof, wherein the polypeptide is capable of binding a TSLP receptor.
