• R2 is selected from hydrogen, OH, OR5a, or lower alkyl;
• R3 and R4 are the same or different and are independently selected from hydrogen, OH, OR5b, OAryl, OCH2Aryl, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, CF3, —SCF3, —OCHF2, —OCF3, halogen, —CN, —CO2R5c, —CO2H, —CONR5bR5c, —NR5dR5e, —SO2NH2, —NHCOR5d, —NHSO2R5e, —NHSO2Aryl, —SR5f, —SOR5g, —SO2R5h, —SO2Aryl, —OCH2CO2R5i, —OCH2CO2H, —OCH2CONR6fR6g, —OCH2CH2NR6hR6i, or a five, six or seven membered heterocycle which may contain 1 to 4 heteroatoms in the ring which are N, O, S, SO, and/or SO2, or R3 and R4 together with the carbons to which they are attached form an annelated five, six or seven membered carbocycle or heterocycle which may contain 1 to 4 heteroatoms in the ring which are N, O, S, SO, and/or SO2;
• R5, R5a, R5b, R5c, R5d, R5e, R5f, R5g, R5h, and R5i are independently lower alkyl;
• R6, R6a, R6b, R6c, R6d, R6e, R6f, R6g, R6h, and R6i are the same or different and are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl or cycloalkyl;
