Oil compositions

A fuel oil composition comprising a narrow boiling middle distillate fuel oil and 1-5,000 ppm of an additive composition comprising components (a) and (b), wherein (a) is selected from the group consisting of:

• one or more esters obtainable by the reaction of (i) an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid having 18 to 30 carbon atoms, and (ii) an alkoxylated aliphatic monohydric alcohol wherein the alcohol has 18 to 26 carbon atoms prior to alkoxylation and wherein the degree of alkoxylation is 15 to 25 moles of alkylene oxide per mole of alcohol, wherein the alkylene oxide is ethylene, propylene, or butylene oxide;
• and wherein component (b) is a cold flow improver additive different from component (a), and is selected from the group consisting of ethylene-unsaturated ester copolymers, comb polymers, hydrocarbon polymers, sulphur carboxy compound, polar nitrogen compounds and hydrocarbylated aromatic condensates.
