Abstract
A balancing device has a base and an inflatable flexible portion wherein the center of the inflatable portion is higher than the edges. The device is used by placing the base on the floor and standing and moving on the bladder.
Claims5
A method of manufacturing a device for promoting balance comprising the steps of:
- placing an inflatable flexible bladder on a base,
- placing a first clamp along the outer edges of a circumferential portion of said base in an abutting relationship with a portion of the outer edges of said inflatable bladder,
- placing a second clamp along the outer edges of another circumferential portion of said base in an abutting relationship with another portion of the outer edges of said inflatable bladder,
- securing said first clamp to said second clamp and thusly securing said outer edges of said bladder into a groove defined by said clamps and said base, said groove extending in the circumferential direction.
