Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition based on a petasites extract without a hepatoxic, carcinogenic, cytostatic and/or mutagenic effect, the use thereof and a method for the production thereof.
Claims34
A method of treating at least one of pollinosis, dysmenorrhea, eczemas and psoriasis, comprising:
- administering to a patient suffering from at least one of pollinosis, dysmenorrhea, eczemas and psoriasis a therapeutically effective amount of a petasites extract without hepatotoxic, carcinogenic, cytostatic and/or mutagenic effect derived from plants of the genus Petasites, whereby the petasites extract is free of detectable levels of pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
The method claim of 4, wherein an underground part of the plant is utilized.
