Claims4
A method for enhancing a humoral or cellular immune response in an animal comprising administering to the animal
- (a) a non-tumor substance against which it is desired to raise the immune response;
- and
- (b) an adjuvant effective amount of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha, wherein the substance and the TNF-alpha are administered simultaneously and the substance is administered in the form of a conjugate with a microbial or viral polypeptide.
A method for enhancing a humoral or cellular immune response in an animal comprising administering to the animal
- (a) a non-tumor substance against which it is desired to raise the immune response;
- and
- (b) an adjuvant effective amount of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha, wherein the substance is native to the animal and the substance is a covalent conjugate of somatostatin with a microbial polypeptide.
A method for enhancing a humoral or cellular immune response in an animal comprising administering to the animal
- (a) a non-tumor, hapten substance against which it is desired to raise the immune response;
- and
- (b) an adjuvant effective amount of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha.
