Abstract
Nucleic acids encoding a new family of chemokines, the CX3C family, from a mammal, reagents related thereto, including specific antibodies, and purified proteins are described. Methods of using said reagents and related diagnostic kits are also provided.
Claims17
An isolated or recombinant nucleic acid which comprises:
- a) a nucleic acid encoding the mature polypeptide defined by the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NOs:
- 2, 4 or 6;
- b) a nucleic acid encoding an antigenic polypeptide comprising an 8 amino acid portion of the mature polypeptide defined by the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NOs:
- 2, 4 or 6;
- or
- c) a nucleic acid encoding an antigenic polypeptide comprising a polypeptide defined by:
- i) amino acid residues 26-61 of SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- ii) amino acid residues 25-100 of SEQ ID NO:
- 4;
