Abstract
The present invention relates to a liquid bleaching composition comprising a peroxycarboxylic acid having at least one aromatic group and a co-agent selected from organic acids, homo or copolymers of acidic monomers and mixtures thereof.

An aqueous liquid bleaching composition having a pH less than 7 comprising a pre-formed particulate peroxy carboxylic acid comprising at least one aromatic group and a co-agent selected from the group consisting of organic acid, homo and copolymers of acidic monomers, and mixtures thereof.
