Claims27
A particle vibration damper for damping the vibrations of a vibrating component comprising a body having a chamber and a plurality of particles, the particle vibration damper, in use, being associated with a vibrating component, wherein the chamber is filled with particles to a percentage between 95% and 100% volume fill such that the particles act like a fluid due to the vibrations of the vibrating component wherein the vibration damper is cylindrical and has a diameter of a selected dimension and a thickness of another dimension and the ratio of the diameter to said thickness is greater than 5.
