Identification of redundancies and omissions among components of a web based architecture

A computer program embodied on a computer readable medium for conveying redundancies and omissions among components of a network framework, the computer program comprising:

• (a) a code segment that determines at least one area of an existing network framework in which redundancies and omissions exist;
• (b) a code segment that presents a pictorial representation of the existing network framework and a plurality of components thereof;
• and
• (c) a code segment that highlights the redundancies and the omissions by indicia coding the components of the existing network framework that reside in the at least one area.

A system for conveying redundancies and omissions among components of a network framework comprising:

• (a) logic for determining at least one area of an existing network framework in which redundancies and omissions exist;
• (b) logic for presenting a pictorial representation of the existing network framework and a plurality of components thereof;
• and
• (c) logic for highlighting the redundancies and the omissions by indicia coding the components of the existing network that reside in the at least one area.
