A method of reducing an aberrant focus of scattered light rays in a subject's eye, comprising:
- administering to the subject's eye an amount of a first compound sufficient to inhibit pupil dilation and thereby reduce an amount of scattered light rays from entering the eye wherein the compound comprises an alpha-1-antagonist and wherein the reduction of scattered light rays reduces the aberrant focus of said scattered light rays.
