Claims22
A device for treating a heart, the device comprising:
- an elongate member having a first end and a second end and being configured to extend transverse a heart chamber;
- a first anchor assembly disposed on the first end of the elongate member;
- and
- a second anchor assembly disposed on the second end of the elongate member,
- wherein the first and second anchor assemblies are configured to secure the elongate member with respect to the heart, and
- wherein at least one of the first anchor assembly and the second anchor assembly comprises
- a pad configured to engage an exterior portion of the heart wall, and
- a cantilever member connecting the pad to the elongate member.
An anchor assembly configured to engage an end of an elongate member for securing the elongate member transverse a heart chamber, the anchor assembly comprising:
- at least one pad configured to engage an exterior portion of the heart wall;
- and
- at least one cantilever member configured to extend from the elongate member to the at least one pad.
A device for treating a heart, the device comprising:
- an elongate member having a first end and a second end and being configured to extend transverse a heart chamber;
- a first anchor assembly disposed on the first end of the elongate member;
- and
- a second anchor assembly disposed on the second end of the elongate member,
- wherein the first and second anchor assemblies are configured to secure the elongate member with respect to the heart, and
- wherein at least one of the first anchor assembly and the second anchor assembly comprises
- an anchor configured to engage an exterior portion of the heart wall remote from the elongate member, and
- a connector connecting the anchor to the elongate member.
An anchor assembly configured to engage an end of an elongate member for securing the elongate member transverse a heart chamber, the anchor assembly comprising:
- at least one anchor configured to engage an exterior portion of the heart wall remote from the elongate member;
- and
- at least one connector configured to connect the at least one anchor to the elongate member.
