Claims8
A toric intraocular lens comprising an optic having an anterior surface, posterior surface, or both, consisting of a material that has a Tack Quotient of about 1 or greater, provided that said material does not consist essentially of (i) 2-phenylethyl acrylate and 2-phenylethylmethacrylate or (ii) ethyl acrylate, ethyl methacrylate and trifluoroethylmethacrylate, wherein the lens has a shape and configuration of a toric lens.
A toric intraocular lens comprising an optic consisting of a material that has a Tack Quotient of about 1 or greater, provided that said material does not consist essentially of (i) 2-phenylethyl acrylate and 2-phenylethylmethacrylate or (ii) ethyl acrylate, ethyl methacrylate and trifluoroethylmethacrylate, wherein the lens has a shape and configuration of a toric lens.
A toric intraocular lens comprising a haptic consisting of a material that has a Tack Quotient of about 1 or greater, provided that said material does not consist essentially of (i) 2-phenylethyl acrylate and 2-phenylethylmethacrylate or (ii) ethyl acrylate, ethyl methacrylate and trifluoroethylmethacrylate, wherein the lens has a shape and configuration of a toric lens.
A toric intraocular lens comprising a haptic coated with a material that has a Tack Quotient of about 1 or greater, provided that said material does not consist essentially of (i) 2-phenylethyl acrylate and 2-phenylethylmethacrylate or (ii) ethyl acrylate, ethyl methacrylate and trifluoroethylmethacrylate, wherein the lens has a shape and configuration of a toric lens.
