Abstract
Novel indole derivatives, pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds and their use as inhibitors of the fatty acid synthase FabH are disclosed.

A compound of formula (I)
- wherein:
- R is —N(R1)—C(R2)H—CO2H or
- Q is O or CH1;
- and
- R1 is Hydrogen or C 1-5 alkyl;
- R2 is Hydrogen, C1-5alkyl, (CH2)nR3, CH(OH)CH3;
- R3 is OH, CO2R1, CONH2, NH2, CH(OH)(CH2)nNH3, NH—C(NH)NH2, phenyl substituted or unsubstituted by OH, —SH, or —SCH3;
- n is an integer from 1 to 5,
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
