Abstract
Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for modulating immunity, which comprises a benzimidazole, represented by the following general formula (I), a 3H tautomer, an optically active enantiomer or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid-addition salt thereof wherein, R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, a hydroxyphenyl group or a methoxyphenyl group. A method for modulating immunity comprising the step of administering, to a patient, a benzimidazole represented by the following general formula (I), a 3H tautomer, an optically active enantiomer or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid-addition salt thereof:
