Oxime derivatives and the use thereof as latent acids

Compounds of formulae I or II

• wherein
• m is 0 or 1;
• R1 is phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more of the radicals C1-C12alkyl, C1-C4haloalkyl, halogen, phenyl, OR6, NR7R8, SR9 and/or —S-phenyl, optionally the substituents OR6, SR9 or NR7R8 form 5- or 6-membered rings, via the radicals R6, R7, R8 and/or R9, with further substituents on the phenyl ring or with one of the carbon atoms of the phenyl ring,
• or R1 is naphthyl, anthracyl or phenanthryl, the radicals naphthyl, anthracyl and phenanthryl being unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C6alkyl, phenyl, OR6, NR7R8, SR9 and/or —S-phenyl, optionally the substituents OR6, SR9 or NR7R8 form 5- or 6-membered rings, via the radicals R6, R7, R8 and/or R9 with further substituents on the naphthyl, anthracyl or phenanthryl ring or with one of the carbon atoms of the naphthyl, anthracyl or phenanthryl ring, or R1 is a heteroaryl radical which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C6alkyl, phenyl, OR6, NR7R8, SR9 and/or —S-phenyl, optionally the substituents OR6, SR9 or NR7R8 form 5- or 6-membered rings, via the radicals R6, R7, R8 and/or R9 with further substituents on the heteroaryl ring or with one of the carbon atoms of the heteroaryl ring, or, if m is 0, R1 additionally is C2-C6alkoxycarbonyl, phenoxycarbonyl, CN, hydrogen or C1-C12 alkyl;
• R′1 is C2-C12alkylene, phenylene, naphthylene,
• diphenylene or oxydiphenylene, these radicals being unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C12alkyl;
• R2 is CN;
• n is 1 or 2;
• R3 is C2-C6haloalkanoyl, halobenzoyl, or a group
• Y1, Y2 and Y3 are independently of each other O or S;
• R4 and R5 are independently of each other hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C4haloalkyl, CN, NO2, C2-C6alkanoyl, benzoyl, phenyl, —S-phenyl, OR6, SR9, NR7R8, C2-C6alkoxycarbonyl, phenoxycarbonyl, S(O)nC1-C6alkyl, S(O)nC6-C12aryl, C1-C12alkylsubstituted S(O)nC6-C12aryl, SO2O—C1-C6alkyl, SO2O-C6-C10aryl or NHCONH2, or R4 and R5 together are —C(R12)═C(R13)—C(R14)═C(R15)—;
• R5 is hydrogen, phenyl;
• C1-C12alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by phenyl, OH, C1-C12alkoxy, C1-C12alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl and/or by C2-C6alkanoyl;
• or R6 is C2-C12alkyl interrupted by —O—, optionally substituted by phenyl, OH, C1-C12alkoxy, C1-C12alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl and/or by C2-C6alkanoyl;
• R7 and R8 are independently of each other hydrogen;
• C1-C12alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by OH, C1-C4alkoxy, C1-C12alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl and/or C1-C6alkanoyl;
• or R7 and R8 are C2-C12alkyl interrupted by —O—, optionally substituted by OH, C1-C4alkoxy, C1-C12alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl and/or C1-C6alkanoyl;
• or R7 and R8 are phenyl, C2-C6alkanoyl, benzoyl, C1-C6alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl, naphthylsulfonyl, anthracylsulfonyl or phenanthrylsulfonyl, or R7 and R8, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bound, form a 5-, 6- or 7-membered ring which optionally is interrupted by —O— or by —NR7a-;
• R7a is hydrogen, phenyl;
• C1-C12alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by phenyl, OH, C1-C12alkoxy, C1-C12alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl and/or by C2-C6alkanoyl;
• or R7a is C2-C12alkyl interrupted by —O—, optionally substituted by phenyl, OH, C1-C12alkoxy, C1-C12alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl and/or by C2-C6alkanoyl;
• or R7a is phenyl, C2-C6alkanoyl, benzoyl, C1-C6alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl, naphthylsulfonyl, anthracylsulfonyl or phenanthrylsulfonyl;
• R9 is C1-C12alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by OH and/or C1-C4alkoxy;
• or C2-C12alkyl interrupted by —O—, soptionally substituted by OH and/or C1-C4alkoxy;
• A is S, O, NR7a, or a group of formula A1, A2, A3 or A4
• R10 and R11 independently of each other have one of the meanings given for R4, or R10 and R11 together are —CO—NR7aCO—, or R10 and R11 together are —C(R12)═C(R13)—C(R14)═C(R15)—;
• R12, R13, R14 and R15 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, halogen, phenyl, OR6, SR9, NR7R8, —S-phenyl, C2-C6alkoxycarbonyl, phenoxycarbonyl, CN, NO2, C1-C4haloalkyl, S(O)nC1-C6alkyl, S(O)nC6-C12aryl, C1-C12alkyl-substituted S(O)nC6-C12aryl, SO2O—C1-C6alkyl, SO2O—C6-C10aryl or NHCONH2;
• R16 and R17 independently of each other are C1-C6alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen;
• or are phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4alkyl or halogen;
• R18 and R19 independently of each other have one of the meanings of R16, or R18 and R19, or together are 1,2-phenylene or C2-C6alkylene which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4alkyl or halogen;
• R20, R21 and R22 independently of each other are C1-C6alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen;
• or are phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4alkyl or halogen;
• or R21, and R22 together are 2,2′-biphenylene or C2-C6alkylene which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4alkyl or halogen;
• Z is CR11 or N;
• and
• Z1 is —CH2—, S, O or NR7a.
