Data display apparatus and method for displaying data mining results as multi-dimensional data

A data display apparatus for displaying multi-dimensional data on a graph in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, comprising:

• starting means for receiving an instruction to select a plurality of data mining engines for automatically executing a data mining process by different analyzing methods, and starting one of the plurality of the data mining engines according to the instruction;
• and
• display controlling means for receiving a result obtained by the started data mining engine, and displaying the result on the display apparatus on the same graph displaying the multi-dimensional data, according to the instruction, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A data display apparatus for displaying multi-dimensional data on a graph in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, comprising:

• input converting means for receiving an analysis result from automatically executing a data mining process on the multi-dimensional data and incorporating the analysis result into the multi-dimensional data to be displayed;
• and
• display controlling means for displaying the analysis result on the display apparatus on the same graph displaying the multi-dimensional data, based on the output of said input converting means, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A data mining visualizing device with a front-end function of the data mining engine automatically executing a data mining process said data mining visualizing device being operated jointly with a unit for displaying multi-dimensional data on a display unit in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, comprising:

• starting means for starting the data mining engine according to an instruction to start;
• and
• display controlling means for receiving a result of the data mining engine and displaying the result on the display unit in the same graphical format, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A data mining visualizing device with a front-end function of the data mining engine automatically executing a data mining process, said data mining visualizing device being operated jointly with a unit for displaying multi-dimensional data on a display unit in a predetermined format of a graph having a coordinate axis system, comprising:

• input converting means for receiving a data mining result on the multi-dimensional data and incorporating the result into the multi-dimensional data to be displayed;
• and
• display controlling means for displaying the result on the display unit in the predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, based on the output of said input converting means, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data result.

A data display method for display multi-dimensional data on a graph in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, comprising:

• receiving an instruction to start a data mining engine for automatically executing a data mining process related to the multi-dimensional data and starting the data mining engine according to the instruction;
• and
• receiving a result of the data mining engine and displaying the result on a display unit on the same graph displaying the multi-dimensional data, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A data display method for displaying multi-dimensional data on a graph in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, comprising:

• receiving a result from automatically executing a data mining process on the multi-dimensional data and incorporating the result into the multi-dimensional data to be displayed;
• and
• displaying the multi-dimensional data into which the result is incorporated on a display unit in the predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A computer-readable storage medium, which is used with a data display apparatus for displaying multi-dimensional data on a graph in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, for storing a program, whereby a computer provides the following operations by executing the program:

• receiving an instruction to start a data mining engine for automatically executing a data mining process related to the multi-dimensional data and starting the data mining engine according to the instruction;
• and
• receiving a result obtained by the data mining engine and displaying the result on the display apparatus on the same graph displaying the multi-dimensional data, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A computer-readable storage medium, which is used with a data display apparatus for displaying multi-dimensional data in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, for storing a program, whereby a computer provides the following operations by executing the program:

• receiving a result from automatically executing a data mining process on the multi-dimensional data and incorporating the result into the multi-dimensional data to be displayed;
• and
• displaying the multi-dimensional data into which the result is incorporated, in the predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.

A data display apparatus for displaying multi-dimensional data, comprising:

• a unit receiving an instruction to automatically execute one of a plurality of data mining engines;
• and
• a display controlling unit receiving a result of the executed data mining engine and displaying the result in a predetermined graphical format having a coordinate axis system, wherein the graphical format used to display the multi-dimensional data is the same as the graphical format used to display the data mining result.
