Claims25
An environmentally friendly additive for plastics, comprising 1 to 50% by weight of ash, 20 to 80% by weight of a carrier, 1 to 60% by weight of a first hydroxide, and 1 to 50% by weight of a second hydroxide, wherein when the additive is blended with polyvinylchloride and the blend is incinerated, the additive absorbs hydrochloric acid gas given off by the polyvinylchloride.
A process for producing an environmentally friendly additive for plastics, comprising the steps of mixing, kneading, melting, extruding, degassing, and pelletizing a combination of 1 to 40% by weight of ash, 20 to 80% by weight of a carrier, 1 to 60% by weight of a first hydroxide, and 1 to 50% by weight of a second hydroxide to produce the additive.
