Abstract
A compound 1-formyl-N-(2-(4-(5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-5-ylidene)-1-piperidinyl)) ethyl isonipecotic acid amide or an analog thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof provides a therapeutic agent for treating a patient suffering from intermittent claudication.
Claims7
A method for treating intermittent claudication, comprising administering to a patient suffering from intermittent claudication, a piperidine derivative of formula (1) or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in an amount effective to treat intermittent claudication:
- wherein n is 2 or 3;
- Y is a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom;
- and X is a formyl group, an acetyl group, or a hydrogen atom.
