Abstract
A process for producing roller blinds includes defining a plurality of shapes for the completed roller blind in a continuous material band. The band has a uniform width and edges of the roller blind are defined between the longitudinal edges of the material band. Separating strips are defined in the material band between adjacent edges of the devices. The individual devices are removed from the continuous material band by separating the material band along the separating strips.
Claims20
A roller blind comprising:
- a fabric comprising a reinforced edge formed by at least one of a warp or a weft thread;
- at least one tubular pocket adapted for receiving a rod, said tubular pocket having a first pocket side comprised of substantially about half of the fabric warp threads, and a second pocket side comprised of substantially about half of the fabric warp thread, wherein a fabric band on either side of said pocket comprises 100 percent of the warp threads.
A roller blind comprising:
- a fabric having a reinforced edge, said fabric further comprising a pocket having a first opening and second opening, said first and said second openings separated by an uninterrupted portion of fabric;
- said first opening and said second opening each defined within said fabric by removal of a portion of warp threads from a surface of the fabric, said removed portion of warp threads substantially free of a weft insert.
A roller blind device comprising a reinforced edge defining the shape of the roller blind article said reinforced edge continuously produced in a band of material of uniform width, the single roller blind articles individually removable by separation means seaming the finished articles.
A roller blind prepared by a process comprising the steps of:
- providing a continuous material band having a uniform width defining a plurality of shapes for the roller blinds and said continuous material band having a uniform width by defining edges of the roller blinds between longitudinal edge areas of the material bands;
- providing separating strips in the material band between adjacent edges of the roller blinds;
- and,
- removing the individual roller blinds from the continuous material band by separating the material band along the separating strips.
A roller blind prepared by a process comprising the steps of:
- providing a continuous material band having a uniform width defining a plurality of shapes for a plurality of individual roller blinds and said continuous material band having a uniform width by defining edges of the roller blinds between longitudinal edge areas of the material band;
- providing separating strips in the material band between adjacent edges of the roller blinds;
- defining a tubular pocket in the material band along at least one edge of the roller blinds;
- and,
- wherein said individual roller blinds are removable from the continuous material band.
