Device for storing fenders on a boat

A storage device for an elongated boat fender, said storage device including a pair of holders, one of said holders being disposed at each end of said fender to which each end of said fender is connected, each holder consisting solely of:

• an elongated body, said elongated body having a first radiused end bent to about 180 degrees to form a U-shaped end and a spaced second radiused end bent to about 180 degrees to form a second U-shaped end, said first and second radiused U-shaped ends being of similar sizes of approximately equal radii, and bent in the same direction with respect to the elongated body, each of said first and second radiused ends having a sufficient opening to fit over a safety rail of a boat, wherein one of the radiused ends of each holder continues its bend beyond 180 degrees, and a portion thereof then bends back outwardly for a small extent to form a lip which helps install and retain said one end over the safety rail.
