Claims35
An insect repellant and antiparasitic composition comprising a liposome and N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET), said liposome having a phospholipid-containing membrane entrapping an aqueous medium, wherein said DEET is interspersed with phospholipids of said membrane, and wherein said aqueous medium comprises a water-soluble anthelmintic drug.
An insect repellant and antiparasitic composition comprising a liposome and DEET, said liposome having a phospholipid-containing membrane entrapping an aqueous medium, wherein said DEET is interspersed with phospholipids of said membrane, and wherein said composition exhibits activity against insects and skin penetrating parasites for over 48 hours after application to the skin.
An insect repellant and antiparasitic composition comprising a liposome and DEET, said liposome having a phospholipid-containing membrane entrapping an aqueous medium, wherein said DEET is interspersed with phosphoiipids of said membrane, and wherein said liposome comprises L-α-phosphatidyicholine, stearylamine and cholesterol.
