The present invention relates to a process for preparing the zeolite ZSM-11 using 3,5-dimethylpiperidinium compounds as an organic templating agent, and to the zeolite ZSM-11 in the pure phase form.

The zeolite ZSM-11 having no intergrowth within its crystalline structure of any other crystalline structure.
The zeolite ZSM-11 having no intergrowth of ZSM-5 crystalline structure.
The zeolite ZSM-11 having a SiO2/Al2O3 mole ratio of about 30 to about 40.
