Abstract
Ethyleneamine compound(s), or mixtures thereof, are used in effective amounts to reduce or inhibit the deposition of white pitch on the paper making equipment during the processing to recycle coated paper.

A predominantly aqueous liquid composition useful in repulping coated paper in conventional processing equipment, which composition comprises:
- pulp, white pitch, and one or more ethyleneamine compounds, the one or more ethyleneamine compounds being present in an effective amount to inhibit deposition of white pitch on the equipment.
