Abstract
A method of treating inflammatory skin diseases and/or hair loss, comprising administering to a patient in need of such treatment a therapeutically effective amount of a leukotriene receptor antagonist, an antihistamine, or other anti-inflammatory drug, preferably at least twice a day, preferably for at least two months.

A method of treating skin disorders, comprising administering to a subject in need of such treatment a therapeutically effective amount of a leukotriene receptor antagonist selected from the group consisting of zafirlukast and montelukast, wherein said skin disorder is selected from the group consisting of acne vulgaris, acne rosacea, acne conglobata and hidrandenitis suppurativa.
