Abstract
Combinations of a GABAA alpha 5 inverse agonist and a COX-2 inhibitor, NSAID, estrogen or vitamin E are disclosed for treating neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's Disease.
Claims4
A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- i) a combination including an NSAID and an inverse agonist of the GABAA α5 receptor subtype;
- and
- ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A kit of parts comprising a first pharmaceutial composition comprising an NSAID and a first pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a second pharmaceutical composition comprising an inverse agonist of the GABAA α5 receptor subtype and a second pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for simultaneous, sequential or separate administration.
