Claims17
An isolated nucleic acid sequence encoding a motor protein, wherein the motor protein has the following properties:
- (i) the protein has microtubule stimulated ATPase activity;
- and (ii) the protein comprises an amino acid sequence that has greater than 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:4 as measured using a sequence comparison algorithm.
An isolated nucleic acid sequence, wherein the nucleic acid encodes an amino acid sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:4.
An isolated nucleic acid sequence comprising a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:3.
An expression vector comprising a nucleic acid encoding a motor protein, wherein the motor protein has the following properties:
- (i) the protein has microtubule stimulated ATPase activity;
- and (ii) the protein comprises an amino acid sequence that has greater than 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:4 as measured using a sequence comparison algorithm.
An isolated nucleic acid comprising a sequence which has greater than 90% sequence identity with a nucleotide of SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:3 as measured using a sequence comparison algorithm and wherein said nucleic acid encodes a protein that has microtubule stimulated ATPase activity.
