Abstract
A human gene which is here named CA7 CG04 has been identified in which mutations have been found which have been correlated with prostate cancer.
Claims18
An isolated nucleic acid coding for a CA7 CG04 polypeptide, said polypeptide having the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:2.
An isolated nucleic acid coding for a mutated form of the CA7 CG04 polypeptide set forth in SEQ ID NO:2, wherein said mutated form is SEQ ID NO:2 having a mutation selected from the group consisting of a serine at amino acid 70 and atrosine at amino acid 342.
