Abstract
The present invention relates to a stable water-in-oil emulsion for cosmetic, pharmaceutical or hygiene use, comprising an aqueous phase and a fatty phase comprising a silicone oil, characterized in that it comprises at least one α,ω-substituted oxyalkylenated silicone, the emulsion having a viscosity ranging from 100 cps to 200 poises, at 25° C. and at a shear rate of 200 s−1. The invention also relates to the compositions comprising such an emulsion, and to its applications in the cosmetics field.
Claims62
A water-in-oil emulsion comprising an aqueous phase and a fatty phase comprising at least one silicone oil, wherein said emulsion further comprises at least one α,ω-substituted oxyalkylenated silicone, the emulsion having a dynamic viscosity ranging from 100 mPa.s to 20 Pa.s, this viscosity being measured on a Rheomat 180 from Mettler using a spindle No. 2 at 25° C. and at a shear rate of 200 s−1, and at time t=10 minutes;
- and further wherein the emulsion is in the form of a fluid.
A water-in-oil emulsion comprising an aqueous phase and a fatty phase comprising at least one silicone oil, wherein said emulsion further comprises at least one α,ω-substituted oxyalkylenated silicone, the emulsion having a dynamic viscosity ranging from 100 mPa.s to 20 Pa.s, this viscosity being measured on a Rheomat 180 from Mettler using a spindle No. 2 at 25° C. and at a shear rate of 200 s−1, and at time t=10 minutes;
- with the proviso that the emulsion does not comprise a wax or a gelling agent.
