Abstract
A method for promoting bone growth in a patient (e.g., a mammal such as a human) said method including the step of administering a therapeutically effective amount of adrenomedullin or an adrenomedullin agonist to said patient.

A method of promoting bone growth in a patient, said method comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an ADM agonist 7-25 amino acids in length, wherein said ADM agonist comprises the amino acid sequence ADM(32-40) (SEQ ID NO:14) or a fraction thereof.
A method of promoting bone growth in a subject at risk for developing a bone-associated disease, said method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an ADM agonist 7-25 amino acids in length, wherein said ADM agonist comprises the amino acid sequence ADM(32-40) (SEQ ID NO:14) or a fraction thereof.
