This invention thus relates to the plants and seeds of inbred corn plant F274 and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing the inbred plant F274 with itself or with another corn plant. This invention further relates to hybrid corn seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred plant F274 with another corn plant and to crosses with related species. This invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of inbred corn plant F274, and also relates to the RFLP and genetic isozyme typing profiles of inbred corn plant F274.
Claims7
A purified population of hybrid seed having corn plant F274 as one inbred parent, a sample of the seed of said corn plant F274 having been deposited under ATCC accession No. PTA-3710.
A tissue culture of regenerable cells of corn plant F274, which plant has ATCC accession No. PTA-3710, wherein the tissue regenerates plants having all the physiological and morphological characteristics of corn plant F274.
