The invention also provides expression vectors, host cells, antibodies, agonists, and antagonists. The invention also provides methods for treating or preventing disorders associated with expression of HSCD.
Claims10
A substantially purified polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1.
A purified polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a) an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1,
- b) a naturally-occurring amino acid sequence having at least 90% sequence identity to the sequence of SEQ ID NO:1, wherein said naturally-occurring amino acid sequence has CoA dehydrogenase activity,
- c) a fragment of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1, wherein said fragment has CoA dehydrogenase activity, and
- d) an immunogenic fragment of 15 contiguous amino acids of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1.
