Abstract
A fuel injection valve for a high-pressure injection of fuel from a central high-pressure reservoir into combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine, wherein, by means of an inlet throttle bore, the high-pressure reservoir is operationally connected to a control chamber which controls the opening and closing of the fuel injector, and wherein the control chamber communicates with an on-off valve by means of an outlet throttle bore. The inlet throttle bore is aligned eccentrically in relation to the control chamber.
Claims5
In a fuel injection valve for a high-pressure injection of fuel from a central high-pressure reservoir (1) into combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine, wherein an inlet throttle bore (10), operationally connects the high-pressure reservoir (1) to a control chamber (20) which controls the opening and closing of the fuel injector, and wherein the control chamber (20) communicates with an on-off valve (40) by means of an outlet throttle bore (30), the improvement wherein the inlet throttle bore (10) is aligned eccentrically in relation to the control chamber (20), and wherein the inlet throttle bore (10) is aligned tangentially in relation to the control chamber (20), and wherein the inlet throttle bore (10) and the outlet throttle bore (30) are disposed perpendicular to each other.
In a fuel injection valve for a high-pressure injection of fuel from a central high-pressure reservoir (1) into combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine;
- wherein an inlet throttle bore (10), operationally connects the high-pressure reservoir (1) to a control chamber (20) which controls the opening and closing of the fuel injector, and wherein the control chamber (20) is generally cylindrically shaped, and communicates with an on-off valve (40) by means of an outlet throttle bore (30), the improvement wherein the inlet throttle bore (10) is aligned eccentrically in relation to the cylindrical axis of the control chamber (20) and perpendicular to said axis.
